Documents Required
The application is split into two stages: the Endorsement Stage (proving your talent) and the Visa Stage (identity and security checks).
For Endorsement
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): A detailed summary of your professional and academic career (usually limited to 3 pages).
- Letters of Recommendation: Three letters from established organizations or eminent individuals who can vouch for your work and your impact on the field.
- Evidence of Talent/Promise: Up to 10 pieces of supporting evidence. This may include media recognition, proof of high salary, awards, or evidence of significant technical or commercial contributions.
For the Visa
- Valid Passport: Your current travel document.
- Endorsement Letter: The official approval from your sector’s endorsing body (must be used within 3 months).
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test: Results from an approved clinic if you are applying from a country where this is required.
- Translations: Certified English translations for any documents not originally in English or Welsh.
Note: Unlike most UK visas, you do not need to provide proof of personal savings or maintenance funds for the Global Talent route.
