Eligibility Quiz
Were you a Philippine citizen at the time of your birth?
Requirements
To qualify for this pathway, you must demonstrate that you were a Philippine citizen at birth and have since naturalized in another country.
- Natural-Born Status: You must have been a Philippine citizen at birth, meaning you were born to at least one Filipino parent. If you became a Filipino citizen through naturalization and later lost it, you are not eligible for the 13(g) visa.
- Foreign Nationality: You must currently hold a valid foreign passport.
- Intent to Reside: You must demonstrate a clear intent to return to the Philippines for permanent residence.
- Dependents: You may include your spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 in your application. They will receive the same permanent resident status as you.
- Exclusions: If you have already reacquired Philippine citizenship through the Dual Citizenship Law, you do not need this visa, as you already possess the right to live and work in the country as a national.
