Documents Required
You must compile a comprehensive dossier of original documents. Any document issued outside the Philippines must be Apostilled or authenticated by the Philippine Embassy/Consulate in the country of origin.
Identity and Status Documents
- Consolidated General Application Form (CGAF-001-Rev 2): The primary application form for the BI.
- Valid Passport: Must contain your current valid entry visa and have at least six months of validity remaining.
- Medical Certificate: A certification from the Bureau of Quarantine (BoQ) in the Philippines confirming you are free from dangerous or contagious diseases.
- Police Clearances: You need a clearance from your country of origin (Apostilled) and, if you have resided in the Philippines for more than six months, a clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Financial and Supporting Documents
- Proof of Financial Capacity: This includes bank statements, investment certificates, or proof of ownership in a Philippine-registered corporation.
- Proof of Reciprocity: A formal certification from your home country’s embassy in the Philippines stating that your government grants reciprocal residency rights to Filipinos.
- Background Profile: A detailed curriculum vitae (CV) or resume highlighting the "special qualifications" you bring to the Philippines.
