Documents Required
You must gather specific evidence of both your military service and your method of naturalization. All documents issued in the United States must be Apostilled to be accepted by the Philippine Bureau of Immigration.
Identity and Status Documents
- Valid American Passport: Required for the veteran and every applying dependent.
- Proof of Veteran Status: Official military records or discharge papers confirming service during World War II.
- Proof of U.S. Naturalization: Documentation (such as a Certificate of Naturalization) proving that citizenship was granted pursuant to the U.S. Immigration Act of 1990.
- NBI Clearance: A clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation is required for any applicant who has already been residing in the Philippines for six months or more.
Relationship Documents (for Dependents)
- Marriage Certificate: To prove the legal relationship of the spouse.
- Birth Certificates: To prove the parent-child relationship for all applying children.
