• Initial Validity: The Residence Card is typically issued for five (5) years. If the EU citizen intends to stay for a shorter period, the card may be issued to match that duration.
• Permanent Residence: After five years of continuous legal residence in Greece, you become eligible for a Permanent Residence Card. This card is valid for ten years and is renewed automatically upon request.
