Documents Required
You must provide evidence that you meet the criteria for independence and that you can support yourself in Greece. All foreign documents must be apostilled or legalized and accompanied by an official translation into Greek.
- Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least three months beyond your intended stay.
- Current Residence Permit: Proof of your existing Type O.1 or family reunification permit.
- Proof of Relationship Change: Depending on your situation, this includes birth certificates (for those turning 21), death certificates, or final divorce decrees.
- Health Insurance: Proof of a full private or public health insurance policy active in Greece.
- Financial Means: You may need to demonstrate independent financial resources. For family members of FIP holders, this typically ranges between €2,000 and €3,500 per month.
- Administrative Fee Receipt: Proof of payment for the electronic paravolo (government fee).
