Documents Required
The most critical part of the VR application is proving the legal relationship between the traveler and the sponsor. All foreign documents must be apostilled or legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the issuing country, then translated into Vietnamese and notarized.
Identity and Application Documents
- Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay with at least two blank pages.
- Photos: Two recent 4x6cm passport-style photos with a white background and no glasses.
- Application Forms: Form NA2 (completed by the sponsor to request entry) and Form NA5 (for visa issuance or extensions).
Proof of Relationship
- For Spouses: Marriage certificate.
- For Children/Parents: Birth certificates.
- For Vietnamese Sponsors: A copy of their Vietnamese ID card (CCCD) and household registration.
- For Foreign Sponsors: A copy of their valid passport and their Temporary Residence Card (TRC) or current visa.
