Eligibility Quiz
Are you currently inside Poland or at a Polish border crossing?
Documents Required
You must present all available documentation to the Straż Graniczna (Border Guard) during your initial application. While lack of documents does not automatically disqualify you, it makes the process significantly more difficult.
- Identity and Travel Documents: Original passports, national ID cards, or birth certificates for yourself and all family members included in the application.
- Evidence of Persecution: Any documents, photographs, police reports, medical records, or written testimonies that support your claim of risk or past persecution.
- Family Documentation: Marriage certificates and birth certificates for children to prove family ties for inclusion in a joint application.
- Translations: While the state provides interpreters for interviews, any foreign-language evidence you submit should ideally be translated into Polish.
