Eligibility Quiz
Are you currently outside your country of origin or habitual residence?
Documents Required
While the Greek authorities are required to interview you even if you lack paperwork, having documentation significantly strengthens your case. You should gather:
- Identity Documents: Any available passports, national ID cards, birth certificates, or military booklets.
- Evidence of Persecution: Any physical or digital proof of the danger you face, such as police reports, court summons, medical records showing injuries, threat letters, or news articles mentioning your situation.
- Family Documents: Marriage certificates and birth certificates for children to ensure your family is processed together.
- Photographs: Recent passport-sized photos are required for your Asylum Seeker's Card.
- Translations: While the government provides interpreters for your interview, any supporting documents (like news reports or legal papers) should ideally be translated into Greek or English by a certified professional.
