Documents Required
You are legally required to surrender your original identity documents to the Ministry of the Interior for the duration of the application process. You will be issued an Applicant Identification Card in exchange.
- Identity Documents: Your passport, national ID card, or birth certificate. If you have no documents, your identity will be established through biometric data (fingerprints) and your personal statements.
- Evidence of Risk: Any documentation supporting your claim, such as court summons, police reports, medical records showing injuries from abuse, photographs, or news articles mentioning your specific situation.
- Medical Records: You must undergo a mandatory medical examination upon entry to ensure you do not pose a public health threat.
- Mobile Phone Access: Under the 2026 reforms, authorities have the legal right to access your mobile phone and digital data to verify your identity, travel route, and the consistency of your story.
