Documents Required
All foreign-language documents must be submitted with certified German translations and, depending on your home country, may require an apostille or legalisation.
- Identity Documents: Valid passport and birth certificate.
- Relationship Proof: Marriage certificate, partnership certificate, or adoption papers.
- Financial Proof: Pay slips, employment contracts, or proof of pension from the last three months.
- Housing Proof: A signed lease agreement or proof of property ownership (Mietvertrag or Kaufvertrag).
- Clean Record: A police clearance certificate from your home country (issued within the last three months).
- Language Proof: A valid German A1 certificate.
